For months now (and with a underdetermined start, but maybe the creators update) Windows 10 will drop its Ethernet connection. I used to use Network Troubleshooter to fix (it "reset the Ethernet adaptor), but I can get online more quickly now by releasing and renewing the lease via ipconfig cmd line instructions.
I am certain that it is not the router as I have other devices pinging the default gateway constantly from other ethernet ports and they work fine (one is a laptop with Win10 installed)
Before the Creators update I have Hyper-V installed. The update killed network connectivity completely until I removed Hyper-V. It now remains removed.
The problem is very pronounced when using the Sky Go app (a streaming application that encrypts the stream - which I believe uses Cisco Video Guard) - it's unusable.
I am researched extensively online for similar issues, I have also performed various actions including: re-installed driver; removed ethernet device; reinstalled networking completely etc. etc.
Any help would be appreciated.
