I clean-installed Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. I've got AsRock N68-VS3 UCC mainboard with Via audio and an external GeForce 6600 video card. I first noticed that my display drivers didn't install automatically, I then had to download the latest Nvidia Geforce 6600 driver from the manufacturer which was for Windows 8 actually. Luckily it turned out to work just fine with Windows 10. I didn't solve the problem with my audio device, however. I've got a red cross near the sound icon at the tray and when I hover over it - a message "no audio output device is installed". Also, in the Device Manager under the section Sound, Video and Game Controllers there is only the generic High Definition Audio Device. I've already tried to install a couple of Via drivers which even say that they have a Windows 10 support, but that doesn't seem to work. I know that the hardware is a bit old, but unfortunately it's my office PC, so I'd really be glad if any software solution existed.
