Yesterday I downloaded the Windows 10 April update, and it caused my brightness controls to malfunction. The brightness is permanently set to 100% and no matter what I do it won't change. I tried all the troubleshooters, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, I tried using older drivers, I tried editing the registry, I tried uninstalling the update (which seemingly had no effect at all), but the issue still persisted. I was even desperate enough to contact a tech. A guy named Kid Reginald used remote access to briefly attempt to fix the issue before disconnecting our session without any success. I'm officially out of ideas, are there any other solutions for the problem?
