Computer really slow after restarting

I was srudying today and used my computer for a good 14-16 hours (one session). Wanted to start steam to play a little around, but it was stuck. To fix that, I restarted my computer. Usually it takes 2-3 seconds to be at the log in screen. But now it suddenly takes up to 1-2 minutes upon booting. It’s really frustrating. Even after I log in, the desktop is still being load for a good amount of time, followed by the icons. Does anybody know what may have caused this/ causing it?


Usually this kind of sessions wouldn’t be a problem at all.
