Here we go again! WinVer 1607 did not like the driver for the Microsoft GPS receiver used by Microsoft Streets and Trips (ser2ph64.sys). Plugging the receiver in gave me the BSOD for the reason shown in the subject line. I finally was able to use the GPS receiver by disabling signature enforcement. (That driver does not have a digital signature.)
The Microsoft receiver continued to work fine with WinVer 1709.
But now with WinVer 1803, the BSOD returns! For the same reason. But now, disabling signature enforcement does not allow the driver to load. Imagine that: the latest Windows 10 update again disables a Microsoft product!
Does any one know where I can find a version of the driver that has a digital signature? OR
Does any one know another workaround that will permit this "unsigned" driver to load?
