My shift keys are suddenly not working

I’ve read about the sticky keys and how it works as it would suddenly appear when I have pressed it for a long time to complete what I’m typing. And now that I understand it, unfortunately I believe it has affected my keyboard as somehow my shift key wouldn’t work at times. I’ve researched the internet and was able to encounter a site with a download link for a Microsoft Fix-it tool and unfortunately it doesn’t exist anymore and presented long lines of alternative programs. But I didn’t find a specific tool to fix the shift key. So I need help.
