Power Issues

I have an HP laptop, windows 10, I ussually use the laptop always connected to the wall. For the past month I have noticed that when removing the AC cable on my laptop to use it on battery power it shuts down after a few minutes of not being plugged in, I would like to know if there is a way to fix this.
