hidden sleep setting? Computers shut down when they shouldn't after latest cummulative update

I have two computers, one a Surface Pro 3, the other a Dell laptop, that I have had set to run a slideshow and not go to sleep or turnoff the screen on their own. After the latest update, they both shut down after a couple hours or so. I have reviewed all settings that I can see in 'Power' or 'Display'. If it was one PC, I'd figure a PC problem, since it's two that otherwise seem fine, looks to me to be a problem with the update or some setting that I'm not seeing. Any ideas?
