problem with my windows 10 laptop

After every few minutes my laptop behaves absurdly. It suddenly closes my running application and when i double click on any icon to open it shows me its properties.......if i click on tab button then it starts working perfectly again.... but after few minutes it again closes my running app..... please help me out
