GPU isn't displaying anything on screen after updating to latest windows?

Hello. I recently updated to the most recent windows 10 there is and now when I plug my HDMI cord into the gpu's hdmi port nothing shows up on the screen and it says "No Signal". I tried updating the drivers of the GPU, but the Nvidia updater says it couldn't find the right hardware. Is there any fix or is my card dead because I am saving up for a GTX 1050 TI if it is dead. Thanks.
