Alien vs Predator 2 won't install AT ALL

So Alien vs Predator 2 just arrived in the mail today I've been trying to find out how to fix the issue. When I go to Setup.exe it processes everything and then at the very end it eliminates the program with the 0x80040702 error message. So I go to Avp2.exe and press install and get the installshield ikernel error message where it says something like it couldn't be installed. Never ran into this problem with other games that are older or same year like Quake 2 and such. Please help!
