I have recently re-imaged three Surface Pro 4's by downloading the recovery image from MS using the serial number and running a system restore as per the supplied instructions.
All three of the devices will now no longer allow me to install software or even run a command prompt saying "Your organisation used Windows Defender Application Control to block this app".
I have completely disabled Windows Defender and I am still having the problem, I have tried every suggested fix for the issue with no positive results.
The only way to overcome this issue is to re-boot with Driver Signature enforcement disabled, all well and good until you re-boot and I can't permanently disable this for obvious reasons.
I have seen a number of threads that state that this is currently the only solution, which is no good for us as our users need access to cmd prompt and to be able install and run software.
Any ideas if this is being investigated?
The image is 1709 Windows 10 Enterprise.
