I purchased PC with Windows 8 and upgraded for free to Windows 10 home version. A few weeks ago, printer stopped working and my admin privileges disappeared. Someone told me to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro. This did not help, so I purchased a new PC since I was going to have to reformat the hard drive. I have reinstalled from my startup disc I made, 3 times, trying to get back to the original Windows 8 and I am still showing 10 Pro, which I do not now have the authorization from microsoft. I plan on selling this PC and I can't until I get this resolved. How do I get back to original Windows 8 so I can then do the update to Windows 10 home version. I have talked with 2 people at the 800 number and they told me I would have to purchase another windows 8. That is ridiculous. Why make a startup disc if it doesn't work.
