I would always get an error that sfc /scannow couldn't fix.
It had something to do with a language pack that I didn't (couldn't of anyway on my Windows 7 version) install, but apparently was part of an update. I can't find the exact file that didn't match (unexpected?) as it looks like the log file from that time has been deleted or overwritten. Regardless, I couldn't uninstall the language pack causing the issue as it wasn't ever installed. If I remember correctly, the file referenced in the log was PINTLGB.IMD, one of the Chinese language files.
I have an Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit ASUS U56E laptop with Office Home and Student 2010 installed. I use AVG Free for Virus protection. As I wanted my laptop to be "clean" and ready for the inevitable Windows 10 upgrade, I launched the DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /ScanHealth (It gave me error 87 on /RestoreHealth) and gave me a boatload of errors and fixes the first time I ran it with Admin CMD prompt.

I checked and this update was not on my system (I have 333 updates installed).
So did Microsoft see that I had these errors after running the DISM and decided I needed to run this update from 2014?
I haven't installed the "new" update yet.
Thank you
