Hello MS Community: I'm not certain I chose the best topic for this, so please tell me if there's a more appropriate topic.
There is an icon for the Recycle Bin on my desktop. When I click on it, it opens and shows the contents. In order to empty the bin, however, I must click on "Manage", which is under recycle Bin Tools.
For a few weeks, it bypassed that step and immediately displayed the EMPTY RECYCLE BIN. So convenient! Now, it's gone. Don't know how it first appeared, nor how it disappeared. But, I'd sure like to have it back.
(When in File Explorer, I know how to make all folders show he same View. I tried doing that in Recycle Bin, but it didn't work. Also, I can right-click mouse, and select "empty" but I'm so spastic I'd accidentally empty everything when sometimes want to restore. So I don't right-click.)
I would appreciate if someone can give step-by-step instructions on how to open directly to EMPTY RECYCLE BIN.
thank you
kashka
