Windows10 blank screen after boot

I have a Toshiba satellite with Intel graphics. On a cold boot, the screen goes black and i cannot use any keys to get it on.

If i close the lid and let it suspend, then turn it back on everything is fine. Frustrating workaround. Anyone else experience this or have a solution?
