So, I recently had my desktop computer bite the biscuit because my 2 year old liked turning it on and off repeatedly. Long story short, I ended up getting a brand new copy of Windows 10 to install on the computer (I was able to format the hard drive). I would get to the Installing Windows screen when I encounter problems - either one of 2 errors appears with a BSOD:
1. Driver Overran Stack Buffer; and
2. Kmode Exception Not Handled.
#1 was the first error I encountered. I ended up taking out my video card and simply using the onboard port. That's when I encountered problem #2. To ensure it wasn't a hard drive issue, I used a different hard drive and had problem #2 again. I tried once more to install windows, and that's when problem #1 came back (I did not reinstall the video card).
I'm not really sure how a completely wiped hard drive with a brand new version of Windows 10 can encounter these errors.
