Computer Fan going into overdrive while doing nothing

Hi,

I am having a lot of problems for the fan on my laptop. It goes into overdrive when I am doing nothing and it makes my computer very loud and very slow. I need a fix. Below are my specifications for my computer.


Computer brand/make: Lenovo Flex 3

Windows: 10

Version: 1803

Proccesor: Intel Core i5

Random Access Memory (RAM): 8 GB

Edition: Windows 10 home
