Recovery USB

I'm using GPT disk (UEFI boot) and I want to convert it to MBR (Legacy boot) disk without data loss by using EaseUs software. I want to make a recovery USB to prevent unexpected errors. So here's the question : Should I make recovery USB before conversion or after conversion ? because when I make recovery USB before conversion I can see the folder EFI.
