I got series of boot issues after forced upgrade to 1803 from grey screen to desktop folder missing inside "C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\" after boot and machine becoming non usable. Finally thought of clean installation and it struck at below stage for last 1 hour.
"We need to get a few more things polished up for you and Windows will be all yours. Looking forward to helping you out!"
The struggle started 15 days back when I got the forced update to 1803. Anything to be done to get the above issue fixed.
Below are the answers to expected questions.
My machine is Dell Inspiron 15 3000 Series. Has 6GB RAM, i3 processor. 1TB HDD. Clean installation tried from USB drive.
