Last night, I updated windows 10 pro, which I have been using without issue for well over a year now, on my desktop computer. When my computer booted after the update, my microphone was no longer working. When I open the sound control panel, there are no green lines next to my device, indicating that the issue is not with application permissions, as the computer does not appear to be recieving microphone input. I have uninstalled and reinstalled audio drivers several times using two methods: plugging in after reboot following uninstallation of device in the Device Manager menu, and by uninstalling the device and manually installing audio drivers from my motherboard manufacter's website. I have tried the audio troubleshooter in the control panel, it found no issues with my microphone. I have also tried the microphone setup wizard, which won't start. And just to add the cherry on top of the sundae, the issue is not with my microphone, as it still consistantly works on every other device that I plug it into.
