Updates failed on new computer: Security issue?

Here is the message I received on all the latest updates for my new computer:

A security issue has been identified in a Microsoft software product that could affect your system. You can help protect your system by installing this update from Microsoft. For a complete listing of the issues that are included in this update, see the associated Microsoft Knowledge Base article. After you install this update, you may have to restart your system.​

This is the list of updates:

2018-05 Update for Windows 10 Version 1703 for x64-based Systems (KB4023057) (2x)​

2018-05 Update for Windows 10 Version 1703 for x64-based Systems (KB4134660) (2x)​

Stuck at 99% download for this one:

2018-05 Update for Windows 10 Version 1703 for x64-based Systems (KB4132649)​

The trouble shooter wanted to uninstall and update and reinstall. Will try that tomorrow, but would like to know more about the above error.
