Hello,
I recently had to install a windows update. It got stuck at 16%. I left the house and came back an hour and a half later and it was still frozen at 16%. I then had to turn off my computer and turn it back on. When I did, it started scanning and repairing my drive which then froze at 8% for a long time. I restarted again and I was forced to factory restore my computer with no opportunity to back up my files. Luckily I have an old drive that had most of my important files, but all my new apps and files are now lost. Is there a way I could have avoided this? How can I avoid this happening in the future? This is extremely frustrating as this computer is only a few months old and I have been updating every time I was prompted and constantly updating to the most recent drivers.
