Stop auto device driver download and install

Am having fun trying to keep windows 10 ver 1803 (Home, not Pro) from autoinstalling "Conexant Media". Don't want it!! Just want basic, default "Hi definition audio" Win driver. Have tried "wushowhide.diagcab" to no avail. Have tried the various options available in Device Manager. Have tried various Registry hacks. This thing is the most persistant piece of s*****t I have ever had to deal with!

Machine is a Lenovo Ideapad 10015ibd-80QQ (ideapad 100) Laptop with built in Conexant audio. Any suggestions?
