Why is windows 10 forced on us so hard?

Hey how about you guys fix the 99% disk space full after restart? So many of us own PCs only to play games on them and don't need spyware and other apps being forced on us. Cortana and all the unstoppable forced updates are a real issue. And since we are peasants and there is only Microsoft we have to just deal with it. Unregulated capitalism is just as bad as facism. No options for the consumer, either this or nothing.
