win 10 wont start

I found that I am only accessing 8gb of the 16 gb installed so followed Microsoft advice and went to system and checked the box where you select your CPU and amount of memory. I checked the box for memory and typed 16 and then the CPU for my AMD 8 core after that It will not start up blue screen says configuration files are corrupt I have another cloned drive installed so boot up in that one and can see the other drive (SSD) and can access programs etc. but since it's SSD and much faster I want to boot from it. any help?

Thanks

Tim
