I used to be able to manage Windows Updates in a different way with Win7. I could look - when I wanted to - at updates and then - in a day/time convenient for me. Have updates happening while I do different things. Now Window's Update is happening in the background, using up valuable resources, slowing down my computer and rebooting when it want's to or getting stuck in a reboot between when I use the system. I WANT THE OLD WAY BACK. Is that possible?
I have also tried to use Schedule an Update for your PC: When an update is available, select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Restart options. Turn on the toggle under Schedule a time and pick the time that works for you..
However Schedule A Time is grayed out and I can't figure out why.
