touch screen keyboard

After the last update to Windows, which was installed June 1, 2018, my touch screen keyboard pops up when I am browsing in CHROME and touch the screen. Very annoying as I have to close the keyboard manually every time. In fact, as I tried to use the touch screen on this page, the keyboard popped up. It does not happen when I use EDGE as the browser. Does Chrome need an update?
