My windows 10 pc randomly shuts down

i just recently got Asus windows 10 laptop and i am wondering why it randomly shuts down while doing nothing i is not overheating because the pc is very cold to the touch and it is very fast at shutting down. i usually have to use my charger just to stay on for 5 mins. please help.
