My computer no longer loads my windows live mail. Also, it keeps telling me to update MY VERSION OF WINDOWS 10, but it never gets past 99%, so nothing happens. I get Error Code: 0x80072ee7, which means nothing to me. I have Windows 10 home version 1511, which I i9nstalled a couple of years ago over the internet to replace Windows 7. This took me a long time and windows 10 wiped out a lot of stuff I used to have on the computer when I bought it, including Best Buys stuff and my Kasperski stuff. As I keep trying to update to Version 1709, I think that's what I am supposed to do, although I really don't know for sure that is what windows update is doing, I seem to lose almost everything (e.g. I lost the ability to log onto my computer through the Lenova log on and password several months ago), and now must log on through windows live and password although I have no idea how this happened. And now, for the past 12 or 13 days, I get no messages for live mail, other than it has been 13 days since updated, although my gmail is consistently updated as before. Do I have to trash this computer just because Microsoft can not successfully help its users who just like to do everyday things, because they expect a 76 year old man who has no idea how to use a smartphone to have taken computer courses since he last had a course in Fortran 4 in 1960. I HAVE TRIED TO LOAD THE UPDATE AT LEAST 20-30 TIMES IN THE LAST 8 MONTHS. ALL MY COMPUTER CAN SEEM TO DO IS GET TO 99%, AND THEN DO NOTHING. aND IT HAS LOST WHATEVER APPS I used to have since I updated to windows 10. So now, with so much gone, like windows 10 and outlook or whatever, I guess the next thing to go if I keep trying to update will be gmail, and then any ability to log on, not because of hardware or software which I have or once had, but because internet updates don't help old folks cope.
