Restoring email contacts

Computer crashed a week or so ago. Carbonite restored my files including contacts file. Would like to get contacts back to email addresses using Windows Live Mail. I can see my contacts list on files restored and presumably they're contained on a "contacts.edb" file. Would like to restore them to windows live mail account. thanks,
