Hi
Looking for some help with my issues on Windows 10 administrator rights, never had these in Windows 7. Firstly, its a corporate environment, we have an admin which has full access to every desktop etc.. Now when I open cmd with admin rights and tries to CD to any other machine or even to my own machine's user profile, I get access denied. This is very strange as I am able to get to the C$ of all the machines. So here is what I have tested so far..
What Works:
- access c$ on any machine
- install / remove programs
What doesn't work:
- right click, run cmd as "other user" then this admin account (works and cmd launches) > but when I use cd c:\users\user1 > access denied
- running powershell also gets access is denied
- using admin cmd > psinfo to another machine > access denied
Is this a windows 10 thing? Seems like I am missing something... Can someone please advise?
Many thanks.
Jeff
