PNG Thumbnails not showing

Ever since my last windows update, I cannot see thumbnails of PNG files. JPEG's are fine. I've unchecked the folder setting "Always show icons, never thumbnails." I have done a disk clean up of thumbnails. I have deleted the thumbnail cache via command line. I still cannot see PNG thumbnails. Currently running windows 10.0.17134.
