nslookup does not see SRV files shown on DNS servers, WIndows 10 Pro cannot join domain

I am trying to add Windows 10 Pro workstations to my AD domain from the workstation but it cannot see the AD DC, some testing shows nslookup is not seeing the SRV records on my AD DNS servers. How do I correct this?

the DNS servers do list SRV records in the forward lookup zones.

did a recent update create an issue with this? I don't have this issue with Windows 7 computers.
