I visited the original (now locked) thread for the USB device not recognized popups and never found a solution.
My PC has been on Win 10 for almost two years, but now I am getting this super annoying "USB device not recognized" popup error message.
I DID recently plug in a USB thumb-drive to look at info to help a buddy out, but I made sure to click the "Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media" app in the lower right tool window. That USB drive was successfully removed weeks before I started getting this non-stop annoying MS error message.
MS -- you need to offer solutions before slamming down an open unresolved Community Help thread.
