Hi,
I have 2 x very new machines on Win10, 1 Pro and one Home. Desktop Pro and Laptop Home. They were supplied with Win 10 and not not free upgrades from earlier Win 7 or 8 versions.
Since the update on KB 4099989 which installed successfully, any update subsequent shows an installation date of 01/01/1601, is noted as awaiting a reboot, but, after numerous shut downs (rather than reboots) they never actually install properly.
My other Win 7 machines (almost replicating the new machines in terms of software installed etc) do not experience this.
Any help on overcoming this annoying issue gratefully received.
Thanks,
Paul
