So I was playing Fortnite like any normal teen is doing right now with my Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse when suddenly, my mouse stopped working. I quit out of the game and went into the Windows Settings to see what the problem was. It said that my Bluetooth was turned off. I double checked in my action center to see if Bluetooth was still there, and it wasn't.
So I went in the Device Manager and it didnt show up there so I clicked on show hidden devices and it popped up. I updated the drivers to both the Intel Wireless Bluetooth Driver and also the driver for my mouse. I then decided to uninstall the driver and restart my computer so then Windows would automatically install the missing drivers. I came back in and nothing changed.
I then went into the Control Panel and uninstalled the program from there, went on the internet, downloaded the newest Bluetooth Driver, and installed it. That didnt do anything either. So I went back into the Device Manager and uninstalled it from there once again. I restarted my laptop, went into the device manager, and the whole Bluetooth driver was deleted. Even when I clicked "Show hidden devices" it still didnt come up. I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers from the internet again, but that didnt work. I even tried the Add Legacy Hardware process, but that didnt work. (Sorry for the long story, I just want to make sure I give all of the details). Anyways, now I am stuck. The driver is not showing up no matter how many times I reinstall.
If anyone can tell me how to get the drivers to show up again on device manager, and then to tell me how to turn on Bluetooth so that I can connect my mouse again, I would greatly appreciate it. (By the way, I also tried the troubleshooter, but that didnt work).
