Storage Spaces direct - New physicaldisk Verification in progress

Hi everybody, i searched up the forum and wasn't able to find here any solution.

I'm managing a 2node s2d cluster.

At the moment i want to add 2 new drives to the system, but the whole process stucks at the "Verification in progress"

I already let the verification run over the cluster and i got these results.

Disk 5002538C40A33AF2 connected to node #hostname1# returned a SCSI Port Association and the corresponding enclosure device could not be found. The hardware is not compatible with Storage Spaces Direct (S2D), contact the hardware vendor to verify support for SCSI Enclosure Services (SES).

Disk 5002538C40A33B3D connected to node #hostname2# returned a SCSI Port Association and the corresponding enclosure device could not be found. The hardware is not compatible with Storage Spaces Direct (S2D), contact the hardware vendor to verify support for SCSI Enclosure Services (SES).


I did a reset on those devices and checked the smart values, everything is fine.

The drives are the same drives like i got in the setup 8 times.


Any idea?
