Just bought a new WD 6tb external HDD so i could move my windows installation onto it.
i've formatted into the NTFS as it asked me to, but now it says its not a valid backup location.

2. is there someway i can make the external be a valid backup location? why isn't it one to begin with ? (seems like a external drive would be a perfect location - - - its even suggested as one by several FAQS)
3. suggest a way for me to move my windows install, right now i'm following this sites guide: How to make a full backup of your Windows 10 PC
