I'm having an HP computer a few years old and was having problem to install the last update of windows 10 on it. After many unsuccessful attempt, I have backup my data and do a reinstallation of windows 10 with re-initialization of my drive (Wiping my personal data and applications). This has work correctly, I was able to use and connect to my PC. Everything was looking fine (it is just a PC with Windows 10 on it, nothing else) than comes the famous upgrade so I let the install start. At one point it is restarting the PC to continue the update and that's there that it is getting bad. I have the Windows logo on the screen with the waiting cursor (you know the dots that are going in circle and circle and circle...) and nothing is happening. After more than 12 hours I have unplug my PC two times to finally have Windows 10 retrofit to the previous version. So what I should do? If I cannot install that upgrade is there at least a way to stop being prompt to upgrade every time that I'm working on my PC?
Thanks
