Hello,
I've been working with a tablet for my friend for a couple weeks now, longer than it should have taken. Let me tell you what's happened, as I've not been able to find anything online that seems similar to my problem. Originally my friend got her tablet as a promo gift with her television. It's brand, technically, is the distribution company that sent it to her. I suppose it's a generic tablet that's been rebranded. When she set the tablet up, she forgot the password and was unable to recover the account because it was offline only. I managed to use a powered hub and usb to reinstall windows on the tablet, and it works fine with the keyboard and mouse plugged into the hub. However, when I unplug those devices, the tablet won't work as a tablet. I've tried enabling tablet mode, I've reinstalled drivers, I've ensured all the settings and services are in order...but whatever I do it's not changing anything. If you have any advice on how I can make this tablet work as a windows 10 tablet instead of a PC I would really appreciate it. I'm feeling at a loss. If there's any information I've neglected to include, please let me know and I'll fill in the blanks.
Thanking you in advance,
Jimmy Goodwood
