Audio Issues for Days

Hey everyone!

So after the latest Windows update a little over a week ago, I turned on my computer to find that I have no sound at all. The only thing I can do is go to the "App Volume and Device Preferences" button in the sound menu and manually reset the output and input devices for every app from default to my headset. If I happen to close a page or restart my computer however, then I have to go back in and redo it all over. Its getting REALLY FRUSTRATING!!!! It says that my sound and input need troubleshooted but when I do, it either tells me to restart the computer, (which does nothing,) or that it cant find an issue. My default output devices are my HyperXCloud headset and elgato sound capture, and nothing I adjust with either fixes the problem. I'm almost completely at my wits end with all of this and if I can't find a solution, then I'll have to have it looked at by a professional.
