Hi - I'm trying to migrate away from Live Mail (because it is discontinued and no supported) But I'm experiencing some difficulties in locating the folders on my C drive which hold details of the emails and the the folder structure which I have in Live Mail at present.
When I ask Live Mail it sends me to C:\Users\*****\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail
and when I open storage folders they are practically empty, or the date modified is in the dim and distant past so the folders can't be hiding email that I have stored in the past few days.
If I use the export facility on Live Mail it appears to work, but the folders which I have set up to hold the exported emails and folders - when opened - are practically empty!
I have in the past 24 hours backed up my Live Mail emails and folder structure using Idrive which is a Cloud resource that I subscribe to, and all the emails and folders have been picked up by Idrive - so there must be a way to access and export them.
So.........
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Mike
