Nine years ago this was a problem:
Windows cannot use this hardware device because it has been prepared for "safe removal", but it has not been removed from the computer. (Code 47)____To fix this problem, unplug this device from your computer and then plug it in again.
Today, it is still a problem in Windows 10. A solution is to reboot your system EVERY time you disconnect a device with the "safe removal".
Windows 10 has an AI called Cortana as a parto of it those days, an AI !!!!
But in 10 years, one of the most commercial operating systems still needs you to reboot it EVERY time you disconnect a device by a "safe removal" .
10 years people, 10 years. On a fresh installation of Windows 10, on a recently bought computer.
10 years!!! Hundreds of thousands of $$$$ .... still needs you to reboot your system to be able to use your device again.
