Hi,
My laptop has been stuck on maximum screen brightness after this update. The f3 and f4 keys for changing brightness no longer work and the option for changing screen brightness in power settings is greyed out. I have followed the suggestions in various other posts including:
1. Troubleshooting power
2. Uninstalling the update (haven't reinstalled)
3. Updating drivers
4. Changing registry value of FeatureTestControl to "fb20", see:
Screen brightness stuck at max after updating to Windows 10 version 1803 (build 17134 / April 2018 Update)
My laptop is a HP Elitebook 1040 G4 - bought at the start of this year. Would really appreciate if anyone could help me out with this problem. Thanks.
