Windows 10 keeps asking me to login, after succesfull login

My Windows 10 is broken, when I start the machine and come to the login screen, Windows Hello recognizes me and "logs me in" but a few seconds later, I am back at the login screen. My password did not work to log in with even though I KNOW it was correct since it is stored in a password manager and is used every day. I don't think Windows accepts the password once Windows Hello and Pin are activated, I have had this problem before. Either way, I made an online password reset, and the problem is the same, I'm getting kicked out to the login screen after every login. Same thing if I logged in with my pin, I am always back at the log in screen a few seconds later.

It all started earlier today when my Start menu refused to open, a few restarts later, the above started to happen. After that I have tried to make a system restore, and failed a bunch of times (just got an error message saying it failed), but finally the last one of the restore points (a few months old) was successful but the problem persists even after the restore.

I think this start menu problem is the root cause, not even now, when I have logged in on a second account, that I was lucky enough to have on the machine, can I open the start menu. Pretty much the entire application bar (?) is dead, search, calendar, the peoples thing, nothing responds.

I have a system recovery cd that I made earlier this year, I have tried it but it is not recognized as a boot drive. Pretty useless if you ask me!

If I have to reinstall/reset windows again, my next OS won't be Windows, it will be Linux, I am through with spending hours and days trying to fix things, everytime something fails, and every rescue attempt fails. It doesn't matter how many flashy ways you have to log in to Windows, and how many different ways you can "rescue" and "restore" your machine, when they don't work when you need them.
