Hello! I’m aware that there’s already numerous questions about this, though unfortunately I was unable to find any that fixed my problem.
I have a HP Pavillion Laptop running Windows 10.
Recently my laptop has been randomly freezing around 30 minutes or so into using it. I checked various things and upon checking task manager noticed the disk column was at 100%. The main culprate for taking up this space was Antimalware Service Executable. Other things taking up a fairly large amount were: Antimalware Definition Update and the installers for AVG and Avast. Prior to the laptop freezes AVG wanted to restart my computer to switch itself back on (I’d turned it off for a short while) and once back on these problems began occuring. I considered that it could be the Antimalware Service Executable trying to do something with my antivirus programs but I’m not sure. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
