My saga started back in October with a forced update to the Fall Creators Update. After it updated without warning me, I experienced numerous problems the most problematic of which was the fact that my screen resolution/aspect ratio was off with no way to fix it. Especially in games it makes it difficult to play sometimes because the ratios are off so things can become larger or stretched. Everyday use causes eyestrain much faster than normal and things look generally a bit off or disproportionate. I tried many different fixes which can be found in my old thread on the subject , but none worked. I got it to be a little less blurry, but never fixed well enough to be back the way it was.
I decided to stop working on it and hold out for the next update which just came to me in the form of the April 2018 1803 update. I hoped it would fix it, but it did not and now I'm running even slower on my laptop. My resolution looks weirder again with my taskbar appearing shrunk and stretched.
So here I am again, hoping and begging for a solution to my resolution. I have updated all my graphics/display drivers to the most recent as well as rolled them back to previous versions that did work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled them. I have tried re-updating Windows 10. And, of course, I have restarted my computer. If anyone has any suggestions or solutions, I am willing to try.
Thanks
