I type in both English and Japanese daily, so I use Google IME as my default keyboard.
However to prevent the trouble of clicking and switching keyboards every time on start-up, I set Japanese as the default keyboard. It is easier for me that way because Google IME allows for keyboard shortcuts to change between Japanese and English input.
The strange part is that because the keyboard language default is Japanese, several apps are displaying themselves in Japanese, even when I have my locale on English.
How can I stop apps from changing the language that's not stated in the locale? All I want to do is type in two languages without affecting the system language.
