Since my recent Windows 10 update, (about 1 month ago, April/May 2018) , my laptop came up with the DXGKRNL error. My laptop became completely unusable. And NOTHING I do can repair it. I formatted that drive partition (C:/) and have re-installed Windows 10 FIVE times and every time as SOON AS I CONNECT to the Internet, it comes up with that error code.
At re-installation 4 I deliberately did not link up to the Internet and it worked fine for more than a week. Within minutes of connecting to either Wi Fi or Cable, the error came up making my laptop useless! What a pity, for I have gotten so use to using my Windows 10.
My Laptop may be old?? But why did it work until the latest update? I updated my legal issue of Windows 7 home to Windows 10 Home since it was released.
My laptop is an ACER TravelMate 5530.
Can Microsoft or anyone please assist. or if it's the Video Driver, how can I prevent that driver from updating.? or could it be a virus/malware etc..?
Please help me Mr Microsoft!
